Whether you’re just beginning to explore London’s vibrant art and culture scene or simply looking to meet new people in a more thoughtful way, Nimi offers small, welcoming groups designed for serendipitous friendships. We believe the most powerful memories are made when inspiration and genuine connection intertwine.
Our name, Nimi, is inspired by Mneme — the Greek muse of memory. This is your home for meaningful memories built around arts and community.

Our Story
Nimi was created for anyone who’s ever craved real conversations over small talk, and genuine connection over crowds. We started with a simple idea: that the arts can be a bridge to new friendships.
Today, Nimi brings together hundreds of Londoners through exclusive small-group gatherings every week – from curated gallery strolls and museum adventures to private previews and cultural experiences designed to spark thoughtful, real conversations.
We believe in the immense power of the arts to spark real connections, ignite creativity, and foster belonging – building a kinder, more inspired world. Join us on our mission to inspire a million new friendships.
Nimi Community
Within its first year, the Nimi community has grown organically to over 1000 members — people who come to discover the arts, explore new ideas, and be part of an inspiring movement.
Most of our members are millennials based in London, working across financial services, tech, healthcare, education, and the creative industries. Some arrive as seasoned culture lovers, but many are complete beginners — simply curious about experiencing the arts in a more relaxed, personal, and social way.
Nimi Partners
We began with visual arts and have since partnered with over 60 leading museums, galleries, and cultural institutions to create over 100 exclusive social events — including private tours, hidden gem strolls, behind-the-scenes access, and member-only gatherings. Our partners include the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A), the National Gallery, Tate, Sotheby’s, London Gallery Weekend, Asian Art in London, and the London Stock Exchange, among others.

Beyond a community, we’re building a movement. As a seed-stage tech startup, Nimi carries a deeper mission: to combat urban loneliness through shared cultural experiences.
We’re proudly backed by the University of Chicago, having won a global startup competition, and supported by a growing network of over 40 angel investors and advisors who share our vision for a kinder, more connected world. Many of them are also part of the community as early adopters.
Together, we’re scaling our human-centred approach to connection, from London to cities worldwide where meaningful relationships matter most.
