London, UK — 27 May 2025 — As part of this year’s London Gallery Weekend (LGW), the UK’s largest free contemporary art event, Nimi has partnered with LGW to introduce two new interactive gallery strolls in Mayfair and Shoreditch.
Designed as a complement to LGW’s live tours, Nimi’s events will spotlight a curated set of diverse galleries and offer a fresh, social format aimed at welcoming new and curious audiences into the art world.
Combining gallery visits with group activities, each stroll blends art exploration with inspiring conversations amongst art enthusiasts. Participants are split into intimate groups to take part in creative challenges along our guided tours — from poetry prompts to scavenger hunt clues and concluding with informal drinks, offering space to reflect and connect.
“We’ve always believed that art can be a gateway to connection — especially when it’s experienced in a setting that’s relaxed, welcoming, and a little unexpected,” said Anh Nguyen, founder of Nimi. “This collaboration with London Gallery Weekend is about lowering the perceived barrier of contemporary art and helping more people feel that they belong in these spaces.”
These strolls are part of Nimi’s mission to address urban loneliness through intentional, art-led experiences. For London Gallery Weekend, they serve as a playful extension to the core programme, offering visitors an alternative route through some of London’s most dynamic gallery districts.
